An early intervention and prevention program on Sexual Assault and Family / Domestic Violence for High School Students.

 

 

 

The Program

'Love Bites' is an extremely successful school-based early intervention program focusing on sexual assault and family / domestic violence.

The program consists of two interactive workshops on sexual assault and family / domestic violence. This is followed by two workshops that consolidate the information gained by working along side the students to write, perform and record a hip hop song, and develop posters / resources around the issues of sexual assault and family / domestic violence for their community. The program recognises the skills, talents and knowledge of the students and models respectful relationships between male and female students, teachers and workers.
