The NSW Department of Community Services promotes the safety and well being of children and young people. They provide parenting support and child protection.

 

The Department of Community Services aims to:

Address issues of actual or suspected abuse or neglect of a child

Address issues where children are exposed to domestic violence

Give assistance and advice to parents with difficult to handle children.

Brighter Futures

Children Services

The Brighter Futures program provides you with support and services that will help you give your children a good start in life.  This can stop family problems from getting worse.

Brighter Futures program is for families who have children aged eight years or younger, or are expecting a baby.
 
Your Family Worker can meet you in the privacy of your own home. You can get help and talk about problems that every parent faces when raising young children.
